Welcome to Teach Me Finances! If you’re like most people, chances are good that you do not understand quite as much about finances, investing or insurance as you would like. Most of the information out there is either heavily biased, hard to understand, or completely incomprehensible. Plus, there are so many people trying to give you financial advice, how do you know who to listen to?

We’re happy to say that Teach Me Finances is here to help. Teach Me Finances will help you make sense of the crazy world of investing, finances, insurance and the stock market, with easy to understand (and unbiased) guides to many of the complex financial issues we all run into.

What We Write About

There are essentially three different categories of articles that we write about: Insurance, Investing, and Forex.

Our insurance articles cover many aspects of insurance, but focus mainly on life insurance and disability insurance. We may occasionally talk about home insurance or other property insurance, but we’re mainly focused on helping you learn about insuring your earning ability. Our most popular insurance articles include our guide to low cost term life insurance.

Our investing articles run the gamut from talking about stock and bonds, to mutual funds and annuities, to the many different types of retirement plans. Lastly, our Forex articles talk about the various intricacies of the foreign exchange market. Firstly, yes, we know that technically the Forex market is part of the stock market. However, due to the vast amount of information on Forex, it deserves its own category. And secondly, yes, we know that most Forex sites out there are nothing but spam. Despite that, the Forex market is a legitimate trading market and there is money to be made in it. We’re not going to try and take your money with our Forex articles, but we will do a thorough job of explaining many of the terms, ideas, and strategies that you should know if you’re going to invest in the Forex market.
